Are you or your teen struggling with anxiety that is hard to control?

You’re not alone. Many children, teens, and young adults experience emotional dysregulation, which can show up as intense anxiety, frustration, or emotional outbursts. At SoCal Child Psychology, we understand how overwhelming this can feel for individuals and families, and we are here to help.

Wendy Mendoza specializes in helping children, teens, and young adults manage stressful situations.

She has extensive experience working with individuals who struggle with strong emotions, particularly when emotional dysregulation occurs alongside ADHD, anxiety, or depression. Together, Wendy works with clients to identify practical, effective coping strategies to manage anxiety, frustration, and anger in ways that feel achievable and supportive. As a bilingual therapist, Wendy provides services in both English and Spanish.
