Meet Kaitlyn Torres, APCC

Have you felt overwhelmed with trying to connect with and understand your child?

Every parent has their own hopes and expectations for life with their child. You have probably imagined a life full of giggles and fun-filled memories. However, when unexpected anxiety or ADHD becomes a part of your family dynamic, you might be left feeling overwhelmed and confused on how to connect with and support your child.

Suddenly, everyday moments become life’s biggest stressors.

Dropping your child off at school used to be a breeze, but now your child screams and cries when it’s time to go inside. Your child is finally out of the toddler stage and you’re looking forward to a full night’s rest, but now your child is too afraid to sleep alone and disrupts your sleep. Getting ready to leave for the day in the morning seems like a simple enough task, but now your child can’t focus and your family is left rushing out the door.

Parenting your child with anxiety or ADHD doesn’t have to be something you do alone.

Having a therapist to partner with for individualized support can make parenting something to be enjoyed again. My hope when working with you is that you leave each session feeling hopeful and confident in parenting.
